All U.S Government Pens are Manufactured by Blind Workers


Now a days uncountable pens are used in this world but this interesting fact is about US Government and their 
pens. Pens used by US Govt for many purposes like writing, hitting and teasing others are all made by Blind Workers. These pens are manufactured by them for more than 40 years.
Another interesting fact about these pens is they are developed under the name “Skilcraft” and they are assembled by blind workers in factories in Wisconsin and North Carolina. This is termed as the “Coca Cola of ink pens”. They are called so because a great proficiency to make these pens as they will be used under specific circumstances. First of all it must write continuously for a long time and secondly it must be able to write between 160 Degree Fahrenheit and 40 Degree Fahrenheit below zero.
They are designed to fit US military to remain hidden as their design merge with the uniform. They are also used in war zones and gas stations etc. Only U.S Postal order 700,000 pens each year. And these pens account almost $5 million each year in which 60% business is from Military and rest include Agriculture, Commerce and Justice. Though civilians can buy them from on request through some retail shops.
